Main tasks of the Laboratory

• Carrying out in accordance with the established procedure (on behalf of the State Service of Ukraine for Medicines and Drug Control, SE "State Expert Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine", State authorized bodies and appeals of legal entities or individuals) quality control tests:

- medicines

- pharmaceutical products (substances, excipients, medicinal plant raw materials and herbal medicines), which are manufactured or used by domestic enterprises

- foreign drugs that are registered or registered in Ukraine

- medical devices

- materials and containers

- dietary supplements

- food products

- perfumes and cosmetics, hygiene products

- disinfectants

- games and toys.

As well as testing for the content of radionuclides in medicinal plant raw materials and herbal medicines, drinking and non-drinking water.

• Conducting basic and applied research aimed at improving the quality control and standardization of medicines.

• Carrying out scientific and methodological work to improve the quality control of medicines and its organizational forms.

• Approbation of new scientifically based methods of quality control of medicines, improvement and adaptation of existing methods of control, examination of medicines by assessing the level of requirements laid down in regulatory documentation.
