August 6 marks the day "Doctors of the World - for Peace" on the anniversary of the bombing of the Japanese city of Hiroshima on August 6, 1945.

On the occasion of the International Day of "Doctors of the World for Peace" on August 6, 2020, the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine held an All-Ukrainian event "Doctors of Ukraine for Peace".

On this day, the staff of our laboratory, as well as employees of all scientific institutions of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, worked with symbolic doves of "peace" in white coats.

The neutral status of the profession does not prevent industry workers from expressing their civic position and influencing public policy.

The medical community cannot remain passively silent when civilians and soldiers die every day in Ukraine due to foreign aggression.

Only together can we stop this war.

Doctors, hygienists and pharmacists, like no other, realize that preserving peace and human life is of the highest value.

We want the whole world to hear our appeal.
